Wave Camp in Dallas!! Travel Training with Resorts, Cruise Lines and Travel Insurance was Fun-tastic!!

Wave camp is simply another name for our Travel Agent Convention! The convention was absolutely amazing and very informative!

I spent my weekend at Wave Camp hosted by Levarte Travel and their amazing CEO- Lori Speers!

During the weekend of August 28-29, 2021, I had the pleasure of attending Wave Camp while staying at the Marriott Quorum by the Galleria in Dallas, Texas! Wave camp is simply another name for our Travel Agent Convention! The convention was absolutely amazing and very informative!

My room was on the 12th floor with a Beautiful View of the City. The view of this city lit up at night was simply Priceless! I could not have asked for a better view!

I connected with fellow travel agents, the CEO Lori Speers of Levarte Travel, the staff and travel suppliers! We were offered complimentary headshots, won vacations and gift cards! We were trained on select properties by the best Business Development managers that flew in from the Caribbean Islands to showcase their resorts! The cruise line did an amazing job of updating us on safety protocols, the newest ships and destinations. The Allianz Travel Insurance Representative drove it home, showing us the importance of why we need to protect our clients during this season of Covid.

I also met a few locals that went above and beyond showering me with some of that old fashioned southern hospitality! I truly felt welcome in this city and it warms my heart to know that people do care and still have old school values when it comes to southern hospitality!
